Meet the artists!
Caisha Sprout
Caisha Sprout, a Melbourne-based songwriter of Indian heritage, blends Blues, Roots, and Soul from her unique plantation of creativity. Her debut single “Self Love” (2020) garnered over 66,000 streams, while her latest releases, “When I Get Older” and “Shake!”, earned radio support from Triple J, Double J, and international stations like Radio One India.
She has performed internationally at Sofar Sounds in Dubai and India and supported artists like Mia Wray, Adam
Newling and Flynn Gurry locally. Caisha's performances blend guitar, piano, and vocals, creating a soulful, earth-bound connection with her audience.
Evelyn Yuen
Evelyn Yuen is a Melbourne-based, Chinese-Australian singer-songwriter but would more readily describe herself as ‘a
meme who makes music’. Evelyn began writing songs with her childhood best friend at age 5 - the main topic of interest
revolving around fighting grown men at the ripe age of 5. Thankfully, Evelyn has since broadened her horizons. Her
songs range from poignant piano ballads lamenting the loss of youthful ingenuity, sing-along pop songs denouncing the
boys who have mistreated her sister, to comedic tunes detailing Evelyn’s primal attraction to a certain Scottish ogre.
Miss Understood
Miss Understood is a British Zimbabwean multi-disciplinary conceptual artist - a multi-instrumentalist, singer-songwriter,
dancer, model and also seasonal actress who plays piano, drums and guitar.
Her work aims to convey complex emotions, boldly exclaim her own sociopolitical commentary and inherently explore
meaningful dialogues aimed at reflecting the coexisting themes of clarity and confusion naturally embedded in the human experience.
Olivia Brasil
Olivia is a Brazilian singer-songwriter, poet and guitarist. Her music is deeply rooted in Brazilian culture - the rhythms,
dance and folk stories. She is currently working on a project where she sings songs by Brazilian female songwriters.
Sebastian Lugo
A native of Villa Del Rio (Bogota, Colombia), Sebastian Lugo became a household name in Melbourne's Latin Community after his move to Australia. He has performed in many major events and venues including St Kilda Festival, The Johnson St Fiesta, The Night Cat and Ms Collins. Sebastian is renowned for his collaborations with Tumbao Social, an 11 piece salsa band, Lo Que Faltaba, a 7-piece reggaeton band, his refreshing busking style around Melbourne and viral Latin-pop music covers on social media.
