Welcome to the Blues Cave!The Blues Cave is a Blues social night held once every two months, which includes an beginner Blues dance class and then social dancing to primarily blues music.

6:50pm: Doors open
7:00pm - 8:00pm: Beginner Blues dance class (no experience required!)
8:00pm - 10:00pm: Blues social

Location and Parking
We are located at the beautiful Latin Energy Studio at 45 Balaclava St in Woolloongabba, right next door to The Cave Inn! Just head up the stairs and follow the music! Free street parking is available right outside on Balaclava street. Food and drink are allowed to be brought into the venue - feel free to BYO or grab something from next door!
What is Blues dancing?
Blues Dance is composed of various African American dances that evolved alongside blues music in America. These dances share traits such as being grounded and rhythmic, similar to other African American dance styles like Lindyhop.
