The Black Hole is an energetic and exciting guitar-driven Blues Rock Trio from Phoenix, Arizona, USA. They have performed over 800 concerts touring North America, South America and Europe since 2022. They are were named Best Blues Band in Arizona in 2023-2024 and were top 20 semi-finalists at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN in 2024. They have performed with some of the biggest icons in blues and popular music, have performed for crowds of up to 10,000 people and have sold out numerous tour dates around the world.The band is led by 25 year old guitar virtuoso Connor Kelly who's intense playing style had earned him the reputation of one of the top rising blues guitarists on the world stage. Connor is backed up by the world class rhythm section of John Martinez and Levi Velasquez.
John is a Brazilian bass matestro and educator who specializes in music composition and performance and is respected in the academic music community. Levi is a veteran blues and rock drummer, and that has performed and collaborated with artists in 43 countries worldwide.
The band's live show contains the band's original blues and rock music and features everything from roots blues to soulful blues rock sounds performed with emotion virtuostic musicianship. Also part of the show are tribute sets to the best known rock guitar music of the 1970s. It features the well-known music of Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Deep Purple, The Rolling Stones, Rory Gallagher and many more. Connor Kelly showcases his ability to capture the essence of guitar heroes of the era, displaying very skilled guitar work and consumate showmanship.
