Known to many as “Moth Megan” across the ecological network, Megan works with Portsmouth Countryside Service and has previously been an Assistant Ecologist for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. Megan will get to the roots of the more bizarre botany of our beloved local chalk downland. Low nutrient ecosystems such as Portsdown inspire fierce competition between species - driving some to thievery to survive! The dynamics of these relationships will be unearthed, and the methods of conserving these complex ecological chains discussed.
