The Grand Debate: Should Barcelona extend its El Prat Airport? This is not a political debate, but a managerial and analytical negotiation. It will take place the (Wednesday) 8th of April, 13h30 in the aula MAGNA, 7th floor, TBS Campus.
The airport extension is not merely an infrastructure project—it is a symbol of how cities negotiate growth, sustainability, and collective futures, compelling us to critically define—and perhaps redefine—what we mean by development and growth/progress: whether growth should continue to be measured in traffic and GDP, or reimagined in terms of social well-being, ecological balance, and intergenerational justice.
