The Big Comedy Kiss, featuring Hasan Al-Habib, Pouya, and Pavel Zborik - three great acts, unstoppable laughs!Hasan Al-Habib is an award-winning stand-up comedian, writer, and actor whose sharp wit and personal storytelling have marked him as one of the UK’s most exciting rising comedy talents. Born in London and raised on the outskirts of Birmingham, Hasan first discovered stand-up while performing for friends at university, and hasn’t looked back since.
In 2023, he won the Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award after a standout set that blended intelligent observations, voices, and impressions, exploring themes like growing up Muslim in Britain and navigating cultural identity.
Hasan has also been a finalist in the 2022 Chortle Student Comedy Awards and has performed in the Midlands regional heats of the BBC New Comedy Awards (BBC Three).
He’s made audiences laugh at major festivals - including a sold-out run with the double act 2 Muslim 2 Furious at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival - and in 2025 he debuted his solo show Death To The West (Midlands), a comedic reflection on his Iraqi heritage and upbringing that’s already earning critical buzz and award nominations.
Hasan’s comedy is personal, smart, and engaging - blending cultural insight with standout storytelling and a dynamic stage presence that keeps audiences laughing and thinking.
Pouya JK - Pouya lives in his cartoon world, purposefully misunderstanding things for laughs. Originally from Iran, he moved to Switzerland at 15. Not speaking the language, he entertained himself with quirky observations, giving him a unique perspective on both cultures and their stereotypes.
Pavel Zborik - Grew up in Russia and Germany and moved to Switzerland to work in the laundry business (mostly wealth management). Pavel has 3 managers, 2 cats and a wife leaving only the stage as a place to get a word in. Pavel is a regular in the Zurich comedy scene. He performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and at various shows in Germany and even Lithuania. His comedy is a tapestry of anecdotes and contemplations on culture, marriage and raising cats in his Jewish faith. He’s been mistaken for Mark Zuckerberg 19 times this month.
