🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at Bentham Playing Fields Association's Duck Race 2026. It's a yearly event like no other, and we can’t wait to see you there! Join us for our annual duck race to raise money for Bentham Playing Fields!
The race will take place at Wenning Bridge and will set off at 2pm.
Join us on the bridge or by the riverside to watch the ducks as they swim down and cross the finish line near the bridge.
Feel free to bring your nets to help us collect the ducks in afterwards and then join us for a party and refreshments on the playing fields! 🥳
Each duck is numbered and costs £2 (plus a small optional transaction fee if paying online) and you also need to give your duck a name! You can enter this information when you purchase online and there will be a £25 prize for the best duck name!
The first duck across the line will win £100! Second place will win £50 and third will win £25. All winners will be announced on the field after the race.
Every duck bought for this event allows us to maintain the field and all facilities for local families into the future.
