Lueth Ajak and The Kings of Pain present, The Police - The Best OfLocal superstar Lueth Ajak and his band return with another tribute show, this time covering the catalog of a band that broke up before they were all born, the legendary punk-reggae-pop group, The Police.
Lueth will return to the stage with the same line up musicians, formally known as ‘The Power of Equality’ (for their Red Hot Chili Peppers show), Jacob Pickett (drums), James Buchanan (guitar) and Quinn Luxford (bass) this time under the moniker ‘The Kings of Pain’.
They’ve got their work cut out for them with this show, Stewart Copeland, Andy Summers and Sting are fiercely talented musicians that were often at loggerheads, so let’s hope there are no fistfights onstage. Hear hits such as, ‘Every Breath You Take’, ‘Message in a Bottle’ and ‘Walking on the Moon’, along with deeper cuts ‘Wrapped Around Your Finger’, ‘Spirits in the Material World’, and perhaps even a couple of Sting’s own solo tunes.
One night only, at Orange’s exciting new live music venue, the Badlands Taproom, don’t miss out!
