Timeline:
5:30pm Registration opens/practice begins
6:15pm Registration cut off for reserved spots (if you have reserved a spot and are not checked in we cannot hold the spot any longer)
6:20pm Players meeting
6:30pm Player auction
7:30pm Play begins
End time is generally around 1:00-2:00am
What is a chip tournament:
In a chip tournament format players are issued chips (lives) based on their skill level. You play random players one rack at a time, you lose a rack you lose a life, the last player standing wins.

SL9-4 chips
SL8-5 chips
SL7-6 chips
SL6-7 chips
SL5-8 chips
SL4-9 chips
SL3-10 chips
SL1/2-11 chips
Who’s eligible to play?
Active APA players with 20+ matches played in the last 2 years, the exception to this rule would be active APA players willing to shoot at the highest SL if not enough matches are in. Ineligible players at TD discretion.
How large is the field?
Beast of The East XIX is a 64 player mixed SL event.
What’s the entry fee?
$60
What are the payouts?
Generally we pay 8 spots deep, with payouts between $3000-$6000.
How do I sign up?
You must comment you are going on the specific sign-up post (the post will outline this), please include your active 9 ball SL. If you select/going/interested, but do not comment your spot will not be held. Do not comment on the event post to be added. ALSO INCLUDE YOUR ACTIVE SL TO BE VERIFIED AT CHECK IN.
Can I just show up day of and play?
Sure! As long as we have room we would love to have you. Just show up before 5:45pm to register.
