The Battle at the Alamo is an off-road exhibition RC (Radio Controlled) car race featuring 1/8 scale Nitro & Electric Buggies & Truggies that will take place as a Friday & Saturday evening activity at the 4th annual Tex/Mex Showdown at Cycle Ranch Motocross park in Floresville, Texas.
-Nitro Fuel Pit Stop Demonstrations
- Announcer Hyping up sponsored drivers and their cars / equipment
- Tire seminar/different tread patterns/compounds
- 1/8 scale Truggy vs Buggy exhibition talking about all the key differences and similarities between the two
There will be LIVE announcing, spitting out all of the information on these scaled down rockets and RC car racing to the crowd of spectators.
There will be music playing for atmosphere. And then finish it off with a quick 10 lap race for bragging rights.
No timing system! This is an event to put on a show to promote the sport/hobby of RC car racing and the Grand opening of Alamo RC Raceway.
Drivers are encouraged to bring their cars out and drive on the track after the exhibition race is over.
The fee to enter the park during the race weekend is $15 per spectator.
10 FREE park entry passes will be given away to 10 Nitro (Buggy or Truggy) drivers that commit to lining up on the starting grid for the 10 lap race on Friday Night.
Come on out to Cycle Ranch and Alamo RC raceway on Friday May 1st and Saturday May 2nd for the Grand opening and an evening full of RC car racing fun.
* All proceeds from RC car entry fee from spectators will go towards a new timing system for racing*
