Join us for a fun night of local poetry at The Battery Cafe.
Mary Germaine joins us on Aug 6. Mary is a poet, an educator, and a PhD student at the University of New Brunswick. Her poems have appeared in The Walrus Magazine, Riddle Fence, the ArtSci Effect, and Augur Magazine, and her book is "Congratulations, Rhododendrons".
Bring your best for poetry open mic - anything goes! There are six five-minute slots available on a first come, first served basis.
Doors open at 6:30, and the event will start promptly at 7:00.
Performers' drinks provided thanks to Quidi Vidi Brewery!
Large tables (3-6 people) should be booked ahead of time on Eventbrite. Eventbrite sales end at noon on the day of the show; walk-ins may be available after that - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm. Guests may be grouped together based on capacity.
Our Kitchen closes at 5:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00. Please arrive 15 mins early to be served and get seated.
