About this Event
The Baseball Mission (MAVS of Springfield Baseball Inc., a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation) was originally founded in 2010 as the Midwest (Springfield) Mavericks Baseball Club. It has now transformed away from a baseball club and grown into a mission-driven organization dedicated to empowering young athletes across southwest Missouri.
In 2026, we're raising funds for two life-changing initiatives:
• A mission trip to Cuba in partnership with Connect Church in Springfield, MO, where players will serve communities and share their faith
• Scholarships for players in need, ensuring that every athlete has the opportunities to compete, regardless of financial circumstances.
These fundraising initiatives will be spearheaded at our annual banquet on March 1, 2026 at the White River Conference Center with a projected 600+ people and World Series Champion Ned Yost as keynote speaker.
We're committed to building character, leadership, and service - giving athletes the chance to grow spiritually, emotionally, and athletically. This year, our impact expands globally as we combine baseball and faith through international outreach.
