About this Event
Baltimore Makers Sustainable Innovation Series —
The Baltimore Makers Sustainable Innovation Series is my commitment to bringing eco-friendly creativity, community connection, and accessible artmaking to Baltimore. I created this series to give our city a space where artists, families, and makers of all skill levels can learn how to upcycle, repurpose, and reimagine everyday materials through hands-on workshops rooted in sustainability and cultural expression.
Each session in this series is designed to show how powerful creativity becomes when we use what we already have. By exploring upcycling, creative reuse, and innovative design techniques, we honor our environment, reduce waste, and prove that art does not require expensive materials, only imagination, intention, and a willingness to explore.
Led by myself and a rotating group of talented Baltimore makers, this series celebrates the ingenuity of our creative community. We highlight local artists who are transforming discarded items into meaningful works of art and redefining what sustainable artmaking looks like in our city.
More than a workshop series, this is a movement, an open invitation for Baltimore to create boldly, sustainably, and with purpose. My goal is to make artmaking accessible to all, build skills, uplift local creatives, and inspire a new mindset around how we source, design, and create.
Together, we can make sustainability a cornerstone of Baltimore’s creative future.
