As we celebrate the 55th anniversary of The Badger Herald, please join us in Madison for a weekend of reconnection, football and fun from October 4th - 6th.
Events include:
- Monona Terrace Rooftop Cocktail Party:
Our Anniversary Weekend will feature a cocktail party at the stunning Monona Terrace Center Rooftop. Located within walking distance of campus, this venue offers breathtaking views of the city, as well as both Lake Monona and Lake Mendota. Cash bar.
If you’re unable to attend, we encourage you to consider making a donation to The Badger Herald or sponsoring a student ticket.

- Other alumni events:
Manu Raju, Badger Herald alum and CNN's Anchor of Inside Politics Sunday and Chief Congressional Correspondent, will be in Madison on September 19th to speak with current UW-Madison students. The following day, September 20th, at 2:30 p.m. Manu Raju will meet exclusively with Herald staff and alumni for a casual discussion, either at the Terrace or in the office, depending on the weather. If you're in the Madison area, we’d love to have you join us!
Exclusive 55th Anniversary merchandise coming soon!
We’re excited to offer exclusive Badger Herald 55th merchandise. The online merch store will be open starting October 4th. During the 55th Anniversary events, you’ll find scannable QR codes and links to easily place your orders. Merchandise will be shipped when the store closes, following Anniversary Weekend.
