Hosted by DAAS – Derbyshire Addiction Advice Service
📍 Chesterfield Fire Service Community Room
🕡 Monday 8th June 2026 | 6:30pm – 8:00pm
👩‍🦰 For women aged 18+
This session is for all women 18+yrs living in Derbyshire.
Refreshments are included, and it’s a chance to gain valuable insights and connect with others in a supportive space.
DAAS (Derbyshire Addiction Advice Service) is part of the Derbyshire Recovery Partnership, offering support to anyone aged 18 and over living in Derbyshire (excluding Derby City) who is affected by substance misuse—whether their own or someone else’s.
Join us for the second of two insightful sessions led by Carita from DAAS. This workshop focuses on raising awareness around alcohol addiction and the wide-ranging support available. Using interactive props and real-life examples, Carita will explore how alcohol misuse affects the body, mind, and behaviour—helping attendees better understand the risks and realities.
Knowledge is power.
Understanding the impact of alcohol use is essential, especially when dependency can often begin unnoticed. As someone who has experienced the consequences of addiction through a different lens—shopping—I know how deeply it can affect your mental health and overall wellbeing.
Please reserve your place in advance.
