About this Event
The Austin Belly Dance Convention (ABDC) is an annual 3-day event of spectacular performances and live shows from world renowned belly dance stars and musicians, top-grade dance instruction, and unique vendors from the international and Texas Middle Eastern dance community.
The ABDC will be held September 27-29, 2024. Classes will be held at two dance studios located side by side in South Austin and some classes will be online. We will have 9 instructors teaching 12 classes over the three days. Come sparkle and dance with us, y’all!

2024 Guests Artists: Ahmed Elswify (Egypt), Amara (Australia), Bahaia (TX), Cheyney Teagan (TX), Hany Morgan (Egypt), Rania Kandil (TX), Stacey Lizette (TX) and Svitlana (TX)!
Workshops and lectures are Friday 7:30pm-9:30pm, Saturday 9:00am-4:00pm, and Sunday Online 11:00am-9:00pm. Workshops pricing ranges from $45-$65. Saturday professional gala show will be held at 7:00pm with tickets costing $20 each. This year The ABDC will be partnering with the non-profit, Austin Bellydance Association, for an evening of dance at the Dougherty Arts Theater in downtown Austin. Dance, shopping, and plenty of great company awaits you.
