Born from the collision of two of Atlanta’s fiercest blues forces, Cannonball Red and Garrett Collins, this powerhouse delivers high-voltage blues with grit, swagger, and zero gimmicks. Alongside a band of seasoned players, the Cartel blends deep-rooted blues tradition with modern firepower, creating a live show that hits hard and lingers long after the final note.
Pouring on the coal on the heels of Garrett Collins’ 2024 Atlanta Blues Challenge win and Memphis IBC run - alongside Cannonball Red tearing through Clarksdale’s legendary Juke Joint Festival with total blues credibility - the Cartel arrives locked, loaded, and ready to raise the roof.
Soul-drenched, gritty, and impossible to ignore, Cannonball Red blends old-school blues roots with modern swagger. Inspired by Muddy Waters, Otis Spann, Ray Charles, Prince, and Lenny Kravitz, his sound is raw, magnetic, and built for the stage. Powerful vocals. Real grit. Blues made dangerous again.
Garrett Collins brings blistering guitar work, powerhouse vocals, and relentless Southern soul energy. Raised in a Middle Georgia church and forged through 200+ shows a year, Collins channels the spirit of Freddie King and Stevie Ray Vaughan into something fiery, soulful, and unmistakably his own.
Together, the ATL Blues Cartel doesn’t just play the blues. They attack it full throttle with purpose, passion, and power.
We’re thrilled to welcome The ATL Blues Cartel to Tunes By the Tracks in Stone Mountain Village. Expect deep grooves, hot guitars, and a blues-fueled night that may shake the Village walls. Without a doubt, they will raise the “Village” roof in true blues fashion!
