The Arts Effect

Welcome to The Arts Effect!

We’re Danika Sung and Victoria Sun, two local student artists who are passionate about making arts education accessible for everyone. That’s why we’ve organized this special student showcase at Arts Umbrella.

At The Arts Effect, you’ll experience performances and artwork from more than 30 young artists in our community. All proceeds from ticket sales, refreshments, and optional donations will directly support two organizations close to our hearts:

• Arts Umbrella, where over 80% of students receive financial need-based subsidies.
• Hogar De Gina, a home in Peru providing care and opportunity for abandoned girls.

This event is both a celebration of creativity and a way to ensure that future generations of young people have the chance to explore and develop their artistic voices.

Info: Doors open at 6:00 pm for refreshment and gallery viewing in the Arts Umbrella Atrium. At 6:45, guests will move to the Jack & Darlene Poole Theatre for the performances. There will be a 15-minute intermission at 7:30pm. The second half of the show will end at 8:30pm
