The Artist’s Eye returns on Saturday, April 18, at 11 am, featuring painter Robert Jessup in conversation with Jennifer Casler Price, senior curator of Asian, African, and ancient American art at the Kimbell.For his talk, Jessup has created a new painting in direct response to Pierre Bonnard’s vibrant “Landscape at Le Cannet.”
The discussion will highlight shared approaches to luminous color, undulating forms, and expansive horizontal landscape formats.
