Join The Artists Way Course at the Hero Workshop!
Join instructor Judith Martin-Straw for a 12-week guided course working through Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way, offered for the first time at Hero Workshop!
The Artist's Way is a beloved book and program that has helped artists and all people discover and recover their artistic practice through weekly journaling, challenges, and "artist dates" for over 30 years. Whether you are a writer, actor, painter, or creative in general, this program helps everyone overcome creative blocks, fear, and self-sabotage by reframing creativity as a spiritual practice accessible to all.
WHEN: Every Wednesday for 12 weeks starting 3/25/26 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.
WHERE: Hero Workshop, 4445 Overland Ave, Culver City, CA 90230
WHO: Judith Martin-Straw is a working writer (journalism, poetry, short stories) and publishes local news at CulverCityCrossroads.com. She has been teaching yoga for more than 25 years, and taught a class at the CulverPalms YMCA from 2002 to 2018. This will be her seventh time teaching the Artist's Way, and her first offering at the Hero Workshop.
Please arrive to the first class with your own copy of The Artist's Way! Copies can be purchased at The Village Well at 9900 Culver Blvd!
The course will cost $350 total. Sign up through Eventbrite to register a spot. Payment is due by the start of the first class on 3/25/26 via Zelle. Please be aware that no refunds can be offered for missed classes or late arrivals.
