At this workshop, you’ll create your own collection of hand-decorated papers to use in cards, journals, books, or even as photo backgrounds. On first day together, you’ll experiment with adding expressive marks, accents, symbols, and textures to paper using a variety of tools and techniques. Have you ever heard of “sink art” or writing with bleach? Well, bring your creative spirit to discover new sources of inspiration. Your papers will dry overnight, and on Sunday we’ll gather again to share ideas and imaginative ways to use your unique artisan papers that you can incorporate into your projects.
There will be a small materials fee for supplies that will be ordered in advance. You’ll also be asked to bring a few items you may already have. A full supply list will be provided upon registration. Registration is limited. Register early.
