JULY THEME: UNLOCK YOUR CURIOUS EXPLORER
When we feel stuck, or have a dream or calling we have yet to make real, curiosity can help open up new possibilities. Taking inspiration from Shirzad Chamine's Positive Intelligence Research and the "5 Sage Powers" that shift us out of our survival brain up to our thriving brain, we'll activate our ability to explore. In this "pleine air" or outdoor studio session, we will connect with the abundant resources of nature to unlock the curious explorer within so that we can, as Rick Rubin says, "cultivate a sense of awe and wonder at what's possible". How can nonjudgmental curiosity and exploration support you as an artful leader? Join us to find out!
What to expect:
- Check-in circle
- Easy outdoor reflection and exploration
- Sun print making with found objects, followed by poetic reflection
- Sharing and community connections
- Light mental fitness and leadership coaching as needed
*NO SPECIFIC ART EXPERTISE NECESSARY! Just bring your open heart and playful body, a favorite journal or sketchbook, walking shoes, and a camp chair or blanket. All other art materials will be provided.

Meet your facilitator:
Rachelle Archer, MA, ACC, Visual/ Performing Artist, Expressive Arts Practitioner and CEO of , host of .
Rachelle helps women leaders with big missions impact lives sustainably by putting their own well-being first, so that they can lead with a full tank and create a culture of care where all community stakeholders flourish.
She has over 30 years experience in child & youth development, working at the intersection of the arts, education, mental health and social services, with a focus on marginalized, unhoused & systems-affected youth–and the adults who serve them. She takes a stand for healthy workplace cultures and helps foster the individual, interpersonal and organizational well-being that empowers decision makers and teams to achieve their mission and vision with vitality and longevity.
Her belief in the transformative power of the arts imbues her work with imagination, creative expression and play. Rachelle says, "Everyone can be a leader, humans thrive in community, and the well-being of that community starts with us doing our inner work first."
