The Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, in collaboration with the Tullahoma Tree Board and the Arts Council of Tullahoma, is pleased to announce "The Art of Trees," a juried art exhibition celebrating Arbor Day 2026. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2026, at the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center.Local and regional artists are invited to submit tree-related artwork in various mediums, including visual art, photography, sculpture, wood carving, bonsai, and other creative interpretations. This unique, first-of-its-kind collaborative event brings together the community's appreciation for both natural beauty and artistic expression, and brings two separate city boards together for a common cause.
"The Art of Trees" promises to showcase the diverse talents of the region's artists while highlighting the vital role trees play in our community and environment, as well as Tullahoma's long-standing commitment to preserving and enhancing its urban forest. The event will take place on Arbor Day, April 24th, at the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center beginning at 6pm. More information on the event will be released prior to the event.
We're seeking original, creative tree-related artwork in all forms: 🎨 Visual art 📸 Photography 🗿 Sculpture 🪵 Wood carving 🌿 Bonsai ...and any other artistic interpretation of trees! This can be a new piece or one you have already created.
ARTIST SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
- Provide a good-quality image for up to three proposed pieces per artist for jury selection
- One-paragraph artist bio (optional, but helpful)

Selected artists will be notified via email with display instructions and details on delivering your original piece to TFAC for the event. This is a juried exhibition - we can't wait to see how you celebrate the beauty and importance of trees through your art!
