This community art show and fundraiser is a free event hosted at the historical La Peña Cultural Center in Berkeley, CA. The main art exhibit is entitled The Art of Reclamation: Political Influences of Queer South Asian Artists in the SF Bay Area. This exhibit features art work from four queer South Asian artists who have practiced art in the Bay area and excerpts of one on one interviews.
The event also hosts three local social justice oriented community organizations that will be accepting donations for both local and global causes, a zine making station, a set by local DJ 4DHILA, and in house restaurant Los Cílantros.
