First, you’ll learn how to press locally grown fresh flowers using a wooden press that will be yours to keep. Then, you’ll use our previously pressed blooms to create a framed piece of art. All supplies included.
Meet Your Instructor: Diana Rupp, Make Workshop
Dubbed the "youthful doyenne of sewing" by the New York Times and a "craft world luminary" by Huffington Post, Diana Rupp is an accomplished educator, author and designer. A California native, Diana founded Make Workshop in 2002 and is the author of SEW: Sew Everything Workshop and Embroider Everything Workshop (Workman). She now resides in the Hudson Valley with her husband and son.
Taconic Ridge Farm is a member of TheWorkshopExperience.org, a group of friends and neighbors who produce exceptional experiential learning through open gardens and workshops on a wide variety of topics in the Roeliff Jansen region, where the Hudson Valley and Berkshires meet.
