THE ART OF GWEN GRANZOW & VICTORIA RUBINSTEINMay 29 – June 27, 2026
Opening Reception
Friday, May 29 | 6:00–8:30 PM
Join us for an evening celebrating the work of two artists whose practices are rooted in experimentation, texture, instinct, and transformation.
GWEN GRANZOW
Acrylics • Mixed Media • Metals
Fueled by equal parts artistic curiosity and hands-on ingenuity, Gwen Granzow’s work is layered with movement, texture, energy, and playful sophistication. From selling handmade clay pendants at age nine to exhibiting throughout the Midwest as a teen, creativity has always been second nature.
With a background in graphic design and decades spent exploring materials and process, Granzow creates bold abstract works that blur the line between painting, sculpture, and assemblage. Her acrylics, mixed media works, and metal pieces carry a tactile richness—full of depth, structure, spontaneity, and unexpected moments of whimsy.
VICTORIA RUBINSTEIN
Ceramics
Victoria Rubinstein’s porcelain work feels both ancient and entirely her own. Influenced by a lifetime of observing nature, travel, art, and culture, her intricately carved ceramics emerge through instinctive movement rather than preplanned design.
After years working across multiple creative disciplines, Rubinstein found her true connection in clay. Inspired deeply by Italian carving and sculpture, she developed a distinctive sgraffito process that reveals luminous white porcelain beneath layers of black slip. Flowers, waves, ribbons, and organic forms unfold naturally as she carves—resulting in pieces that feel meditative, timeless, and alive.
Experience a striking conversation between material, process, and intuition in this two-person exhibition at Rosenquist Fine Art.
