American author Rory Miller is presenting his book, called “На око” or “The Art of Eyeballing”.
This is a gastronomical travel guide with the initial idea being to visit some far-off villages in Bulgaria, where the author can meet the locals and taste traditional Bulgarian food. What in fact happened was much more, because Miller discovered the gastronomical secrets of these remote places, and made many new friends. Rory came to Bulgaria for the first time more than 15 years ago, then left, but came back again - this time for good.
The event will be presented in English and Bulgarian. The book is in Bulgarian, but there may be an English version published in the future. Na Oko will be presented by Miller's editor, Milena Dimitrova, while Rory prepares cocktails with recipes from the book. Come to enjoy traditional village cocktails, Mechka and Computerche, good culinary conversation, and to learn more about the art of eyeballing.
