The Art of Drag Seminar is a day dedicated to exploring the artistic potential of drag and its capacity to challenge norms, drive social change, and open new avenues for innovation and entrepreneurship.
The seminar also aims to encourage self-exploration and discussions within the drag community to broaden our understanding of drag. Recognizing that established norms and attitudes exist within the drag scene, questioning them is essential to foster the art form's continuous evolution.
Through lectures, discussions, and practical examples, we present diverse perspectives from leading drag performers and researchers. Participants will gain a deeper appreciation of drag as a dynamic art form that not only entertains but also serves as a powerful catalyst for societal transformation.
The program consists of three sessions, each exploring unique aspects of the art of drag, before concluding the seminar day with a spectacular drag show at Salt art & music.
