About this Event

Join us for a Zoom panel discussion featuring artists Taja Will and Ocean C. Poet from The Art of Disability Justice Now exhibition, organized by AmplifyMN: A Disability Justice Collective, currently on view until January 5, 2025 at The Mill City Museum.

Moderated by disability artist, curator, and scholar Barak adé Soleil, the conversation will explore the meaning of Disability Justice in art making and in the lives of the participating artists. Panelists will share their insights on what Disability Justice means to them, its impact on creative practices, and their dreams for a more equitable future. The audience is invited (but not required) to engage with the prompt "Dreaming Disability Justice" and share their embodied experiences through art, writing, or any other medium at the end of the discussion. The event will run for 75 minutes.
