The Art of Awakening - Conversation with Author and Artist Catherine Auman

Join us for an inspiring in-person chat lead by Katie Natonia with author and artist Catherine Auman. Auman began her creative life as a feminist performance artist on the Venice Beach Boardwalk, co-founding The Art Tarts, a guerrilla street theater collective that used costume, conversation, and disruption to confront cultural narratives. She later became a licensed psychotherapist and author of Guide to Spiritual LA and books on tantra and conscious relationship. Across art, spirituality, and intimacy, her work explores one theme: the art of awakening. The HDA event will cover Catherine's journey from artist to author and her focus on "waking up, breaking disruption.
