About the course
Using our studio as a base this six week course explores the relationships between landscapes and the human elements that inhabit them. This course breaks down different compositions using various artists as a reference, to study the relationship between nature and civilisation. This will help students understand why artists use this subject matter and give context towards producing your final oil painting. Explore the art of infusing depth, vibrant colours and character into your works. Simple step by step tutoring will help you to compose your artwork using depth and perspective to captivate your viewers. This course offers timed exercises and final canvas case studies that will capture the natural beauty of the landscape fused with the effect of man made influences on them.If you’ve ever struggled to know how to engage different subject matter then this course will act as an amazing foundation and journey into understanding landscape art.
