Using principles of meditation, we will enter a state of presence and master our strokes at the intersection of technique, spirit, and beauty. Join us for a workshop of conversation and hands on experience to connect with the art and spirit of Persian calligraphy.

Let us gather together to lean on the rich history of calligraphy and divine creativity to express our deepest desires for connection, for empathy, and for collective peace. Using principles of meditation, we will enter a safe space to release tension, disconnect from the overactive mind, and enter a state of presence to receive divine creativity.
Arrive and settle - 15 minutes
History, conversation, and introduction - 30 minutes
Meditation - 20 minutes (best if laid down)
Art & Tratakum- 45 minutes
Mingling - 20 minutes
All materials will be provided - feel free to bring in your favorite poetry book
