The beloved CURRY BATTLE returns and is now well established as foodie favourite as we head into the autumn months. As we say goodbye to sun cream and shorts we stoke the Brewery fires & gather round for yet another street food adventure.
"The highlight of the street food calendar. Boasting a mantra “curry is life” 44Events celebrate Indian cuisine with a weekend of small plates, curries, sides, and fusion dishes from the city's best. From the people behind Battle Of The Burger, Slice Wars, and the Mexican StandOff you can expect similar foodie fanfare with the added comfort of roaring fires, cosy corners, and autumn warmers throughout. Once again hosted by Wylam Brewery, the event sees the last of a 2024 calendar that has hosted some of the biggest street food celebrations in Newcastle."
