About this Event

Right Worshipful Pierre F. de Ravel d’Esclapon is a dedicated scholar of French-American history and Masonic history .


Past Master and Fellow of the American Lodge of Research and Past Master of La Clement Amitie Cosmopolite Lodge No. 410A professor of law and accomplished author, RW Pierre has made significant contributions to both historical and Masonic research, including being the first to document Major L'Enfant's Masonic membership and authoring a comprehensive history of French Lodges in 18th century New York City.


His scholarship on the French presence in America has been featured at prestigious venues including the New York Historical Society, the French Consulate - where he recently delivered a series of three lectures on French contributions to the United States - and the National Arts Club. He served as the keynote speaker at the recent annual meeting of the Huguenot Society of America.

As a member of the French Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution, he embodies the enduring bonds between France and America that have enriched our nation since its earliest days.
