Welsh producer and multi-instrumentalist The Anchoress has announced her first ever Cardiff headline show this summer, where she will preview her upcoming album.The Anchoress, also known as Catherine Anne Davies, is set to return with new music this year. Fresh from a run of summer UK dates appearing with Manic Street Preachers, the new live dates will provide a first glimpse at new music from her third studio album, with a full live band.
This marks the first The Anchoress headline show in the Welsh capital. “I’m so excited to be playing my first ever headline show in Cardiff city centre,” shared Catherine, “It’s a city really close to my heart, with music running through its veins, and after appearing as a special guest with the Manics at their summer shows at Cardiff Castle last year I can’t wait to be back!”
