Join Ball State PBS and Muncie Public Library, for a free screening event and panel discussion celebrating Ken Burns’s latest PBS documentary, “The American Revolution,” on Tuesday, Dec. 2, starting at 4 p.m. at the Kennedy Library, Meeting Room, 1700 W. McGalliard Road, Muncie, IN 47304.
The event will feature a preview of “The American Revolution,” a film by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein and David Schmidt, and a panel of experts from Ball State University.
Panelists will connect Indiana’s history to America’s story. Doors will open at 3:45 p.m., and the screening will begin at 4 p.m.
“The American Revolution” examines how America’s founding turned the world upside-down. Thirteen British colonies on the Atlantic Coast rose in rebellion, won their independence and established a new form of government that radically reshaped the continent and inspired centuries of democratic movements around the globe.
