The Ambleside 22 is a spectacular 22-mile circular journey through the very heart of the Lake District, linking together quiet valleys, beautiful tarns, iconic mountain scenery and classic lakeside paths in one unforgettable adventure.
Starting and finishing in Ambleside, this incredible route takes us past Loughrigg Tarn, around the stunning landscapes of Tarn Hows, through the hidden beauty of Little and Greater Langdale, beneath the towering peaks of Bow Fell, Pike of Blisco and the Langdale Pikes, before finishing with beautiful lakeside walking around Grasmere and Rydal Water.
Expect dramatic views, peaceful valleys, historic bridges, waterfalls, woodland trails and sweeping fellside paths β a true grand tour of Lakelandβs heartland. This walk has everything!
