This is a mystery adventure game where you receive clues to solve - clues lead to businesses found within the Vista area - businesses within the Vista area will hand you a [sometimes physical - sometimes mental] task to perform - tasks are completed successfully to receive your next clue - and so it continues...
The person/team that finishes the race with the lowest time wins!!!
$15.00 per person
Kids under the age of 13 are free with a paying adult. Kids will receive less complicated clues and will be running their own race simultaneously with the main race and the winner of the kid race will win a special prize - adults have the choice of helping their kid and/or participating in the main race for no additional charge.
Please arrive by 10:00 a.m. if you decide not to pre-register through this website.
Cash, Credit/Debit Card, and payment Apps are all accepted on the day.
Race beings at the State House grounds in Columbia, SC promptly at 11:00 a.m. - late comers that are no later than, at most, 30 min. can still participate but will be at a disadvantage to other players - anyone over 30 min. late will not be allowed to participate.
Teams can consist of any number of people, but must be a minimum of one (1).
Extra tasks will be given and can be completed during the race, if time permits, that will subtract time from your overall race time.
Please make sure you bring your phone - most Extra tasks need to be recorded and/or a photo taken and shown to a Race worker as proof of tasks completion.
A map of the Vista area will be given to each player so they are aware of the boundaries of the race and/or a link to the same map will be provided for those that so choose.
We prefer you to walk to each location; however, biking, rollerblading, driving and/or any other type of locomotion is permitted.
Some tasks may provide you with boons that allow you to skip a single location/task, but those are 100% random.
*Remember* the race is about how quickly you can solve and perform each locations task, but it is also about strategy - taking the time to perform any number of extra tasks could lower your overall race time to a winning number. Get the balance right - play strategically and win the race.
