Out Of The Woods’ - 2026 album tourAlex Clarke presents her latest album, "Out of the Woods," which celebrates the legacy of alto saxophonist Phil Woods. Featuring fresh reworkings of both classic and lesser-known Woods repertoire alongside her own original compositions inspired by his distinctive sound. This exciting new project showcases Alex's deep connection to the bebop tradition.
Alex, a finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician of the Year 2020 & winner of the Rising Star category in the 2019 British Jazz Awards,is recognised as one of the most in-demand saxophonists on the British jazz scene and has performed with such notables like Alan Barnes, Alex Garnett & Mark Nightingale and regularly performs with The Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Orchestra.
Tonight Alex leads her own stellar quartet featuring some of the UK's finest musicians namely:
Dave Newton - piano, James Owston - bass & Steve Brown - drums.
Expect a compelling evening of fiery straight-ahead jazz, innovative arrangements and exciting ensemble interplay.
