ALCHEMY = a process of transformation

The Alchemy Gong Bath produces a transportive experience of sonic trance. Gongs are ancient instruments, and their vibrant timbres and full-spectrum harmonics produce powerful, mysterious, and captivating sounds. Gongs help to release, clear, and rebalance your subtle body and nervous system, and the experiences they unfold can catalyze transformation and healing.

Your journey will begin with a brief guided form of meditation called Yoga Nidra or “the sleep of awareness.” This will help you to relax and open up to the sonic textures, tonal qualities, and harmonic richness offered by Loriel Starr’s beautiful eight gong ensemble and additional sonic delights!

The Alchemy Gong Bath showcases the gong’s unique voice in the realm of sound healing and sound meditation. If you like gongs you’ll love this event! And if you are new to the sound of the gong, or just beginning to explore sound baths, tonight will offer a wonderful opportunity to dive into the deep end of the pool of vibrational healing.

**************

Please make sure to arrive when the doors open so that you have time to settle into your space. DOORS WILL LOCK at 7:00 pm sharp for the early show and 9:00 pm sharp for the late show with no admittance afterward.

PLEASE BRING A YOGA MAT AND BLANKET. Additional items that might support your journey include an eye covering, additional blankets, a pillow, and water bottle.

If you do not have a ticket and the show is sold out, you are welcome to drop by the lobby for standby. Any spaces that open up will be released 1 minute before the event begins. Walk-ins are not guaranteed a ticket.

***************

PLEASE NOTE: A gong sound bath has variable dynamics of intensity and volume in the form of sound waves. The tension and release of these dynamics are part of the process that supports the nervous system to strengthen and to develop resilience. However, if you have been diagnosed with PTSD, or are prone to be sensitive to the dynamics of volume, you may find this event contraindicated. Feel free to contact Loriel with any questions regarding participation.
