Akira Tana has established himself as one of today's most sought-after drummers on the international jazz scene. Comfortably at home accompanying singers and instrumental ballads. In addition to playing, Tana has also produced and co-produced several albums including those by TanaReid, the Asian American Jazz trio and Project G-7:A Tribute to Wes Montgomery featuring Kenny Burrell. Tana also has nine recordings as a leader, “Secret Agent Men” and “Moon Over the World,” and “Kiss Kiss Bang Bang,”on Sons of Sound recordings. Another is “JAZZaNOVA” that features Branford Marsalis and Arturo Sandoval with vocalists, Clauida Villella, Sandy Cressman, Claudio Amaral, Jackie Ryan, amd Carla Helmbrecht.

Jackie Ryan was born in the San Francisco Bay Area to a Mexican mother and an Irish father, who were both professional singers in their youth, and therefore grew up in a home that was naturally full of music. Her father was a classically trained baritone and her mother sang in the Teatro Degollado in Guadalajara. Jackie sings in several languages, and her versatility in styles ranging from belting out the blues to Jazz Bebop; to the delicate Portuguese language nuances of Brazilian Bossa Novas and rhythmic Sambas, to romantic boleros sung in Spanish; to the emotive ballads and vibrant swing standards of The Great American Songbook, have won the hearts of audiences worldwide.
