The Afterburners Running Group is the official Air Force Marathon training group, bringing together walkers and runners of all backgrounds who have base access. Whether you’re training for a race or simply building consistency, this group supports every part of your running journey.
Each session includes a structured workout option such as track work, speed or tempo drills, or hills, along with an alternative self paced run for those who prefer to go at their own pace.
After the run, participants are invited to head over to Wings Bar and Grill to enjoy 10 percent off food purchases and take part in trivia.
Bonus: Each participant will recieve a punch card. After 8 punches, you can receive Air Force Marathon swag. There is no limit to how mnay times the punches may be filled.
