The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert is a 1994 Australian comedy-drama about two drag queens (Hugo Weaving, Guy Pearce) and a transgender woman (Terence Stamp) who travel across the Australian Outback in a bus named Priscilla to perform at a casino in Alice Springs. The journey is a road trip of self-discovery, filled with fabulous costumes, musical numbers, and encounters with both supportive and homophobic locals, ultimately leading to a heartwarming revelation about one of the performers' families. The film won an Academy Award for Best Costume Design and became a cult classic
