Train like an actor. Play like a kid.
This spring, Bay Street’s Director of Education, Bethany Dellapolla, leads a focused, high-energy acting intensive designed to help young performers grow in skill, confidence, and artistry.
Students will work on scenes or songs from a play or musical, develop strong acting technique, strengthen memorization skills, and learn what it truly means to be a generous, prepared scene partner. The program culminates in a final presentation for friends and family.
About Bethany Dellapolla
Director of Education, Bay Street Theater
Bethany is an accomplished actress, director, choreographer, and certified intimacy director with extensive professional and educational experience in NYC and Long Island.
• BA in Musical Theatre Performance, SUNY New Paltz
• Master’s Degree in Childhood Education with honors, LIU
• Teaching Faculty at Broadway Dance Center’s Triple Threat Program
• Acting Faculty, Director, and Choreographer at Gateway Playhouse
• Founder of NexGen Youth Theatre in NYC
• Directed and choreographed 50+ productions for youth and adults
• Students have gone on to Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theatre, TV and film, and top collegiate programs
• Proud SAG-AFTRA member
Bethany combines professional-level training with an educator’s heart, giving students individualized coaching while keeping the creative process joyful and collaborative.
