To thrive in the present we must connect to the past, but when that past is fragmented by colonization, oppression, and the pressure to assimilate, how can we tap into the wisdom of the generations that came before us? What did our elders know that we are struggling to rediscover? Using traditions that range from curanderismo to community outreach, Sandhya Rani Jha, Alie Jones, Shanthi Sekaran, and Atava Garcia Swiecicki discuss the path before us and the answers within us.
