About this Event
What is The 9AM Circle?
The 9AM Circle is a regular meet-up designed specifically for freelance and self-employed mums in South Birmingham.
We meet at 9 o'clock straight after the school run, with a focus on genuine connection, camaraderie and support.
There's no pressure to stay until the end - you can be there for as little or as long as you like.
And it doesn't matter if you're running late either. We're mums - we get it!
This isn't traditional networking. There are no sales pitches. There's no pressure.
It's just good conversation, good coffee, and a room full of people who understand the juggle.
Why it exists
Motherhood can be lonely. Freelancing can be lonely. Doing both at the same time can create a particular kind of isolation.
The 9AM Circle was created by two freelance mums and neighbours - Nat Merrix and Tina Parker.
They wanted to bring together freelance and self-employed mums who are navigating the same unique position - building a business while raising a family.
It's a space to talk business without apologising for being a parent, a space to talk parenting without minimising your ambition, a space to feel understood in both.
Who it's for
This event is for you if you live in South Birmingham and:
