We are proud to present The 6th Annual Teen Nation Back to School Health and Wellness Jam-fest Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Sunnyside Community Center 3502 Bellfort Ave. Houston, TX 77051from 11AM to 4PM. During the Teen Nation Back to School Health and Wellness Jam-fest, students receive free backpacks, school supplies, free high blood pressure, glucose checking, vision screening, flu shot, and hearing screenings. Students will also engage in various workshops on bullying, cyber-bullying, financial literacy, etiquette, healthy eating tips and see live performances by some of Houston’s top artist and talent. Your sponsorship to The Teen Nation Back to School Health and Wellness Jam-fest is highly needed.
We envision every child having the best learning opportunities possible, beginning with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom and in life. This vision can be hampered for many families by already stretched budgets. The Teen Nation Back to School Health and Wellness Jam-fest will well equip the students in the Houston community with the supplies they need to succeed this school 2022/2023 school year. Our goal is to give away school supplies to over 300 K-12 students in the Houston area. We hope to serve every student who attends and with your financial support and commitment from businesses and organizations like yours, we can have a great impact on each student's life. The Backpacks and school supplies will be given out on a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS.

We also need volunteers to help at the event from serving food, manning games, kid zone area, helping students select school supplies, and much more!
