The 5th Annual Route 66 – Route 66 Target Matchplay

Start Times:
Thursday, June 25: 12:00pm to 10:00pm (1-hour break at 5:00pm or whenever the round is done)
Friday, June 26: 12:00pm to 10:00pm if needed (1-hour break at 5:00pm or whenever the round is done)
Saturday, June 27: 12:00pm
Entry fee: $25 ($20 A prize pool - $4 to B prize pool - $1 IFPA fee)
Player cap: 64

Finishing off 5 years of Hangar Pinball fun and Route 66 centennial festivities …this one is going to be lite (is that how the kids say it?).
This will be a target group matchplay event with the target score being 66.
The first to the target score of 66 ends qualifying.
One game per round.
Scoring will be PAPA scoring (4/2/1/0) in a 4 player group; 4/2/1 in a 3-player group.
First round is IFPA seeding then balanced pairing after. Arenas will be categorized (A, B, C) to eliminate too much crowding.
Ties will be broken by number of first place finishes, then by number of second place finishes.
We will take a 1-hour break at 5:00pm or whenever the round is done on Thursday and Friday.
Finals will be a group elimination bracket. The Top 2 in the group will move on. The top seed in each group will have choice of 3 arena bank OR position for ALL 3 games. (Example: If your player 2 for the first game, your player 2 for the other 2 games.)
Top 50% will play in A finals.
The rest will play in B finals. Those in the top 2,000 ranking in the IFPA as of June 14 are restricted to A Only.
Payouts determined by number of participants
A Finals
1st place = 60%
2nd place = 30%
3rd place = 10%
B finals
1st place = 50%
2nd place = 30%
3rd place = 20%
