The 4th Annual Passing The Torch Awards

The Passing the Torch Awards returns for its fourth year with an elevated evening honoring Black queer excellence, leadership, artistry, and impact.

This year’s ceremony brings our theme “Our Community, Our Power” to life celebrating the collective strength that emerges when we gather, uplift one another, and invest in our shared future. Guests can expect a thoughtfully curated awards ceremony featuring honorees across arts, culture, and advocacy, alongside special performances and community-centered moments. The Ailey Hemphill Riggs True Colors Grant of $5,000 will be awarded to an innovative Black Queer creator to amplify their artistry as well.

This is more than an awards show, it is a space to be seen, celebrated, and connected.
