About this Event
Welcome to The 4th Annual Long Term Survivors Summit!
Over the years, BU Wellness Network has been honored to host this event alongside a host of community partners bringing together hundreds of individuals who support, are living with, and are committed to educating others about HIV. This gathering stands as a testament to the power of community where stories are shared, stigma is challenged, and hope continues to rise. Through this collective effort, we are not only raising awareness but also building a future rooted in compassion, empowerment, and lasting impact. We are proud to announce a statewide education summit in recognition of this important day.
This event will celebrate long-term survivors also known as THRIVERS by uplifting their journeys, amplifying their voices, and acknowledging their critical role in shaping and advancing HIV care, advocacy, and community support systems. It serves as a dynamic and inclusive forum for individuals living with HIV, case managers, public health professionals, healthcare providers, and community members to engage in meaningful learning and dialogue on topics that matter most to THRIVERS, advocates and supporters for those living with HIV.
We are also intentionally creating space to engage and empower younger generations, inviting them to be part of this important work and the future of HIV advocacy and awareness. A key feature of this year’s event is the Rock the Block Resource Fair, where we will encourage HIV testing, connect attendees to vital resources, and foster open, honest conversations through our Sticking It to Stigma team.
